You can now search places on your iPhone. Google has added Google places with Hotpot on iPhone. No matter where you are, you can always find places on the iPhone with Hotpot app.

With Google Places, you can search for your nearby places. You can rate any place based on your needs and can even personalize the search results based on your ratings. For rating any place, open Hotpot and click ‘Rate now‘. At the first impression, google will provide you with some popular search categories, but later you can customize it by adding you favorite searches.

The current first version of this app 1.0.1 is available only in English. It is 6.9 MB in size and is released on January 12, 2011.
