You opened your website in the browser and were surprised to see WordPress 500 Internal Server Error instead of your website.

To resolve the issue, let’s first check the error log file.
* Login to your host via Control Panel (cPanel / Plesk).
* If your host uses CPanel, then go to File Manager else if your host uses Plesk then go to Log Manager and open error_log file.
* Search for the error messages like: “Premature end of script headers“.

This issue can be resolved in a number of ways. I am providing here all the methods.
You are free to use any one depending on your choice.

Solution 1: Increase the Memory Limit of your blog using PHP.INI file:
Memory limit that your website can use is set in php.ini file at the below line
memory_limit = 32M;
Now change it to 64M or even higher if you want.
Reload your website.

Solution 2: Increase the memory limit of your blog using .htaccess file:
Open .htaccess file and add the following line and save the file.
php_value memory_limit 64M
Reload your website.

Solution 3: Delete .htaccess file
* Go the root directory of your blog and delete .htaccess file.
* Login to your WordPress Dashboard and go to Settings –> Permalinks and Click on Save button. This will again generate your .htaccess file.
* If you are using WP-Super Cache Plug-in, then go to Settings –> WP Super Cache. You would see some code that to be added to .htaccess file. Click on the button to add that code to your newly created .htaccess file.

NOTE: Make sure to back-up your .htaccess file before making any changes to it.
Prior to this, I shared one post regarding How to redirect Add-On Domain.

Infolinks is considered the best inline-text ad network. But how to generate maximum revenue from Infolinks?

These are some of the useful tips:

1. Login to your infolinks account at Infolinks

2. Go in tab Integration Guide

3. Search for Highlight Color. Change the default color link and set the color to the color of your blog’s url.

4. From Double/Dotted Underline, choose Dotted. Dotted text will appear as link to your post rather than ads and you get more clicks.

5. For Max Allowed Number of Highlighted Links per page, set max number of links per page to its maximum i.e. 12.

6. From content Category, select the category that best describes to your blog.

7. Apart from the above steps, also take benefit of infolinks Parsing technique for ads.

To Enable parsing from this point on: <!–INFOLINKS_ON–>
To Disable parsing from this point on: <!–INFOLINKS_OFF–>

Enable parsing for your posts and disable it for your blog’s title, sidebar and footer.

Hope to get good money from Infolinks.

I recently added techofweb.com as an Add-on Domain to mine primary domain oceanofweb.com

Addon Domains can be accessed in following 3 different ways:

You can have the same thing in following ways too:
*Without www
*With prefixing http://
*With prefixing http:// and removing www

So, it counts total of 12 different ways your add-on domain can be accessed through browser, resulting in the addition of great duplicacy for Google.

I was also facing the same problem and it ate my whole 1 day in order for the solution to come up. I mailed to my many blogging friends, contacted Hostgator customer support, googled but nowhere solution was coming. While googling, I got the following code at many places:

Options +FollowSymlinks
RewriteEngine OnRewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^addondomain\.com [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*) http://www.addondomain.com/$1 [R=301,L]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www.addondomain.primarydomain\.com
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.addondomain.com/$1 [R=permanent,L]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^addondomain.primarydomain\.com
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.addondomain.com/$1 [R=permanent,L]

To place this code, go to your FTP/cpanel, primarydomain directory>>>addondomain directory>>> open .htaccess
And copy the above code in it.
But unfortunately, this code too didn’t work for me.

So, if you too on the same floor, then try this:
Open your .htaccess file and paste the below code under mod_rewrite in it (by replacing addondomain with your domain).

Options +FollowSymLinks
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d
RewriteRule . /index.php [L]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^(www.)?addondomain.com$ [NC]
RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} !^$ [NC]
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.addondomain.com/$1 [R=301,NC,L]

This code worked for me like a charm
So, try the above 2 codes. Atleast one will definitely work for you.
Now, access your site by the above 12 different ways.
Every time, you would be redirected to http://addondomain.com

NOTE: Please do back up your .htaccess before making any changes
Replace addondomain with your respective addondomain
