Just now I signed-in to mine twitter account and saw this message.

Twitter is Over Capacity

No one can today deny the increasing popularity of twitter day-by-day. This is the reason twitter servers are experiencing huge loads.

Twitter was showing me over-capacity to me today.

As a good and smart blogger, I just took the screenshot of it and started writing the post.

Android for Twitter is available

Twitter, working with Android team, launched a Twitter application for Android phone.

This app will allow you to share any video, url or photo just with the click of a single button.

Just click Share button and select Twitter.

With android for twitter, you can share your favorite items right from your android phones as you do on your computer.

As per twitter blog, Google will be open sourcing the code used in this app in the near future.

This is just the beginning. We’ll be creating more great ways to read, find, and share what’s happening on your Android phone soon!

Facebook shuts its Facebook Lite

After staying with around 7 months with lite, Facebook has shut down its lite site.

Facebook Lite was aimed to be for users having slow and poor internet connection.

The slimmer and streamed down version of Facebook was loved by many users, but many were also unhappy with the same. Some were facing the issues to switch back to normal Facebook, though Facebook provided the functionality to switch between the 2 versions.

According to official Facebook community,

Thanks to everyone who tried out Facebook Lite. We’re no longer supporting it, but learned a lot from the test of a slimmed-down site. If you used Lite, you’ll now be taken to the main Facebook.com site.

As per Ray Valdes of Gartner Research – “I think a lot of the Facebook experience was left out of Lite, especially the monetisable parts”.

Lite site was offering fewer features as compared to the main Facebook site. Whatever may be, Facebook lite was good for slow-speed internet connections.

How to change background on Twitter

Yesterday, I changed my twitter account background from old boring one to a brand new background image. I was surfing checking mine twitter friend’s profiles and was surprised that many of them were having good background images on their profiles. I thought to have a same for mine account too.

I noticed that one of the twitter guy changed his twitter background through Tweetxilla.

Just visit Tweetxilla and click any of the twitter backgrounds there that you want to get for your account.
Enter your twitter userId and password and click on Apply Background button in order to apply the background to your twitter profile.

Mixx is a social bookmarking site. Articles submitted on mix can bring a good amount of traffic to your blog. If an article is shared by many users, it gets more love.

But what if you want to check the number of times the articles of your blog are shared on mix and that too which articles are shared.

Knowing this is a simple process.

Open http://www.mixx.com

Enter your domain name in search box and hit search button

Eg. If your domain is www.abc.com then enter www.abc.com and click search button.

You will get all the information of the articles shared long with the number of times the article shared on mixx and by whom.
