After providing the facility of dragging the attachments right into the gmail, gmail has now gone a step ahead and now you can also drag your images in between your messages.

Bug in Google Analytics : Redirection Issue

Some time back I wrote a post Google Webmaster Tools Infected With Virus. I think Google learnt something from that post and now the issue with Google webmaster tools is over. But today while I was trying to open analytics, I noticed much similar issue in analytics. Its just redirection problem, not able to differentiate between www and non-www urls.

Googlemail.com changing to gmail.com in UK

Anyone when signup for new gmail account gets a mailId at @gmail.com, except for UK people which were getting @googlemail.com. But soon they would also get now @gmail.com mail Ids.

Almost a week after, anybody who registers for a new email account in UK will get @gmail.com account.
Google will also allow existing accounts to switch to @gmail.com if they want.

Adwords and Adsense Down – Temporarily Unavailable

Google Adsense and Google Adwords are temporarily down due to routine maintenance from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time today i.e. on 10 April, 2010. I just opened my adsense account and I got this message from Google

The AdSense account interface is temporarily unavailable due to system maintenance. AdSense is expected to be down from approximately 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time on April 10, 2010. Please note that your earnings will continue to be tracked as normal, and your ad targeting will not be affected during this downtime. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Google Page Rank Updated – April 2010

Google has updated its Page Rank. This time the google has thrown its anger on many blogs including mine blog too . One of mine blog’s PR reduced to 2 from 3. A sad news for me . Mine this blog also PR is still 0. Don’t remember if I have heard good news from any blogger for this PR update. Google has been very rude this time.
I expected a good pr this time. But next time I’ll definitely a get a great jump .

Google Reporting Suspicious Account Accessibility in Gmail

Google has recently added a security feature in gmail. If some other person access your gmail Id from any other country then google will prompt you a warning message. Gmail servers check if your gmail account is accessed from 2-3 different geographical locations of the world at some minor intervals of time then you will be prompted this at your next login when you access your mailbox from your usual geographical location and ip. The warning message will contain a ‘Details’ link that would be reporting suspicious activity. The link will display the Access Type (Browser, Mobile, POP3 etc.) , Location with IP address and the time and date which would be displayed in your timezone.

Google Webmaster Tools infected with Virus

Yesterday, when I tried to open Google Webmaster tools, mine browser showed me it as infected with virus. Infact, it was a SSL (Secure Socket Layer) error. I was opening Google India (google.co.in) webmaster tools but the server was of Google.com. The moment I saw this I took a screenshot of the page so that I can warn mine blog’s readers and closed the browser tab.

Is Google Buzz going to override Twitter and Facebook

The possibility of Buzz overruling Facebook and twitter has been a host discussion these days. While some denies the fact but on the other hand, one can’t ignore the marketing of Google products. Google Products are good as per user-friendliness and technical aspects are concerned and they get 100 points for their name with Google. So, anything can happen.
